With no cover charge, no dress code, and no attitude, you’re invited to come as you are, whether you’re wearing Levi's, leather, or shorts and flip flops.
We offer the perfect antidote to the relentless pounding of loud nightclubs by keeping our music at a level where you can easily carry on a conversation. There is no karaoke, no bingo, no drag shows, and no trivia contests, just nonstop good drinks at great prices, friendly and helpful staff, and good vibes. Dick’s is simply a good, old, reliable watering hole where men can meet like-minded men, socialize with old friends, and make new ones.

Since the new owners gained control of their favorite bar in the Arenas District in early 2026, they’ve been laser-focused on making Improvements to Dick’s:
Installed an additional 9 tons of air conditioning, bringing the total to 20 tons to cover a mere 1,800 square feet, ensuring comfortable air year-round
Top-to-bottom scrubbing and repolishing, indoors and outdoors, and instituted a daily overnight cleaning regimen
Repaired + revived the ice machine for cleaner ice and fresher drinks
Replaced + updated the audio system with state-of-the art electronics and volume-limiting technology so that you can carry on a conversation in the bar
